Caucasus Training Center and Syntax Academy Begin Strategic Partnership with Lead Auditor Course

The Caucasus Training Center (CTC) marked an important milestone with the successful launch of its first training program delivered in partnership with Syntax Academy. The ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor course brought together nearly 25 participants from diverse professional backgrounds eager to enhance their expertise in auditing principles, information security, and international standards.
The session was formally opened by Dr. David Tsiklauri, Director of Research and Strategic Development at Caucasus University, alongside Mr. Zaza Javelidze, Founding Partner of Syntax Academy. In their joint remarks, they emphasized the shared vision of CTC and Syntax to deliver industry-driven, globally recognized training programs that combine academic excellence with practical, real-world application, expanding access to certified professional education across the region and the UAE market.
The course was led by Mr. Anzor Mekhrishvili, a recognized expert in information security, a distinguished faculty member renowned for his professional insight and practical approach to risk management and ISO/IEC 27001 auditing. Over 24 hours of intensive instruction, participants engaged in case-based exercises and real-life simulations to master audit planning, execution, communication, and reporting in line with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1 guidelines. The program also prepared learners for the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor credential.
This event marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between CTC and Syntax Academy aimed at delivering cutting-edge professional development programs in management, IT, and business disciplines. Together, the two institutions reaffirm their commitment to fostering continuous learning and advancing global standards of excellence in education and industry practice.
