The Managing Partner of CTC and Vice Chairman of the Georgian Business Council, Mr. Boris Lezhava, attended the Dubai Sports Strategy Presentation Event, launched by H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council.
The event, held at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, brought together senior government officials, sports federation leaders, and representatives from the sports and business sectors.
The new strategy presents Dubai’s long-term vision to strengthen its position as a global sports hub and to elevate the role of sports in the city’s economic and social development.
The strategy is based on four key pillars: Community, Events, Clubs, and Talent. It includes 19 programs and 75 initiatives focused on increasing sports participation, supporting athlete development, enhancing governance, and improving the Emirate's ability to host major international sporting events. Aligned with the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033 and the D33 Economic Agenda, the initiative highlights the growing strategic role of sports in Dubai’s future development.
The event provided a valuable platform for exploring potential areas of cooperation and identifying opportunities for future engagement between Dubai’s evolving sports industry and international partners, including industry leaders from Georgia.
