As part of the International Learning Experience in Georgia, a delegation from the Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) visited Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) to learn more about the country’s growing entrepreneurship ecosystem. Dr. David Tsiklauri, Head of Strategic Development at Caucasus University, accompanied the group.

GITA representatives introduced the Agency’s mission: to foster innovation and technology, promote the commercialization of knowledge, and support high-tech products across the economy. They also shared how its programs have helped more than 400 startups so far.

The delegation then toured GITA’s innovation hubs and saw first-hand where entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators work, learn, and collaborate. The conversation that followed was lively, with questions about funding opportunities, startup support, and what it takes to build a technology-driven business in Georgia.

The Caucasus Training Center in the UAE organized the visit. Visits like this give our guests a hands-on look at how innovation works in practice and create new opportunities to cooperate with Georgia’s innovation sector.

We thank GITA for hosting the delegation. The visit gave our guests a practical view of Georgia’s innovation ecosystem and opened the door to future cooperation.
